We have four wonderful, loving goldens (Katie, top left and Sophie on the right .  Shelby, below right and Breezer,  below left) that have given us so much joy over the past couple of years.  Sure, one has been more of a challenge than the other, but we won't mention any names!! 

Katie retired Spring 2007, after producing 2 beautiful litters of puppies.

Shelby received all of her genetic clearances  Spring 2007.   Along with Oliver they have already produced one beautiful litter.

  We are introducing "Belle D'OR's Bacardi Breezer"

this spring.  She is a beautiful light gold in colour,  and has that great outgoing, laid back, golden temperament. Breezer has just returned from Guelph ON passing all of her genetic clearances.  She will be a big part of our breeding program this spring,  already matched up with Oliver.  These are going to be some...special...puppies.

A waiting list has already started for this litter.

Believe it or not, these crazy girls like swimming in the freezing cold ponds even in the winter. 

You would think they would stay out of the water when it is close to having ice on it, but no, they love it that much!  The picture to the right is of the girls swimming in one of the ponds in mid April and Sophie had 3 week old puppies at the time!  Crazy girls!!!!

Next, we have Katie.  Katie will be having her first litter of puppies in June,  and I'm sure she will continue with her swimming routine.   

Katie is a little more energetic than Sophie and spends most of her day playing, swimming and lap training with the trout.  She has the funniest personallity and wins hearts wherever she goes!  Katie loves the ponds and fishing so much that one day while relaxing by the pool with some guests, Katie brought us a lovely trout!!  I think she was just so proud of herself that  she actually caught one, she had to come and show it off.  Luckily the fish was still alive and we were able to get it back in the pond quickly.  So much for relaxing!! 

Poor Katie, in the photo at the top of this paragraph (one with both girls in it), Katie has been shaven to keep her cool in our hot summers.  Believe me, she has a beautiful flowing coat the rest of the year, although she is a little lighter in colour than Sophie.  Hard to believe they are out of the same litter, they are different in so many ways!!

Oliver Twist,   owner Sharon Pascoe,  of Cottage Cove Golden Retreivers.

Oliver is a 7 year old Canadian Champion,   with the heart and temperament that only a golden can have.   We are very pleased to announce that Oliver has stood as  stud for 2 of girls and will be a perfect combination again this spring with Breezer.

Meet Sunkozi Vincera MacDuff (MacDuff),  our newest addition to the family.   MacDuff came to us from Carol and Randy Ethridge of Masonridge Retrievers near Brockville, Ontario. 

                                                                He is a great big gentle giant who wouldn't hurt a flea.  MacDuff is very people oriented and wants nothing more than to lay at your feet.   We have found that MacDuff just loves puppies and kids.  Oh yes,  there is also the issue with his "PINK" bunny.  Don't let that fool you,  this big boy is going to make a great addition to our breeding program,    and we just can't wait to see what his kids look like!  Check back for our Spring 2006 litters.  

MacDuff has been shown in conformation and has accumulated 7 points towards his Canadian Championship.  His first weekend out he took Reserve Winners Male.  MacDuff's Pedigree.
